They were vampires and they all knew that I was not like them. They kept staring at me but none of them said a word. The ground was bare and there was only a bed and toilet in my cell.
I did not know what Jacob was getting out of sending us to these nasty cells because everything about Martha was already made public. And I am not ashamed of what we did, nor do I think that the others are.
