“No, no, no,” Clary said to herself as tears ran down her face. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she sniffled dryly, trying to collect herself but failing. This was not happening!

How? How could she have imagined all this? 

She paced the bathroom for a few seconds and then decided to stop and try to calm down. She knew that panicking would not help her case. In fact, it would make her seem even crazier. 

Clary stood by the mirror and her eyes caught her reflection. She now understood why everyone kept asking her how she was doing. It was because she looked awful. 

Her eyes were bloodshot and puffy. Her nose was red and her face looked pale and sickly. 

She made a small sound with her throat as she swallowed. “But the visions, Ace saw them too,” She said to herself. The visions! If her being pregnant couldn’t help her convince Levi that she was telling the truth then the visions might!
