Chapter 11

In the living room, Nico, Ruby, and Madame Maria were sitting in a relaxed atmosphere. Ruby sat next to Nico, hugging him intimately, while Madame Maria smiled contentedly at the sight. Celine paused for a moment, gathered her courage, then stepped closer.

"Nico," Celine called, her voice firm yet full of emotion.

Ruby, Nico and Mrs. Maria immediately turned their heads, looking a little surprised by her arrival.

Celine handed the divorce papers to Nico, "Here, the divorce papers. All that's left is for you to sign."

Nico looked at the letter with a puzzled expression. He raised his gaze to Celine, his eyes looking dark and full of uninterpretable emotions. "Celine, are you serious?" he asked in a slightly trembling voice.

Celine nodded firmly. "Yes, Nico. I'm serious. Thank you for all the hurt and humiliation you've given me over the years." Her eyes were teary, but she tried to keep the tears from falling.
