Celine laughed, finally relenting. "Alright, I'll take permission. But only today, okay?"  

Nico kissed her forehead. "Today and tomorrow. Deal?"  

Celine smiled. "Deal."  

Nico breathed a sigh of relief, then pulled Celine's hand towards Calvin's room. "Come on, let's go wake up our son. I'm sure he'll be happy to know that the three of us can spend the whole day together."  

Celine grasped Nico's hand tightly. For the first time in a long time, she felt really happy.

Nico pulled Celine into a hug, his arms wrapped tightly around his wife's waist. "You know," he whispered in Celine's ear, his voice husky and full of teasing, "ever since we got together, I can't stop missing you."  

Celine chuckled, trying to move away, but Nico didn't let her. "We have to wake Calvin up, honey," Celine said, touching her husband's cheek.
