Chapter 84

Bryan appeared with his trademark smile, carrying a folder of documents. "I brought the cooperation file that you need to sign," he said as he placed the folder on Celine's desk.  

Celine sighed and leaned back in her chair. "Bryan, I'm sorry. I'm in no condition to discuss cooperation right now."  

Bryan looked at Celine thoughtfully. "You look stressed. What's wrong?"  

Celine stared at Bryan for a moment, unsure whether or not she should tell him about this. But in the end, she let out a long sigh. "My company's stock dropped five percent. It looks like there was a hack, and even worse, there was a misuse of company funds. I'm sure it's an inside job."  

Bryan frowned. "That's serious. Do you know who did it?"  

Celine shook her head. "Not yet. I've called an emergency meeting and given them twenty-four hours to investigate. But I still can't fully trust them."
