I laid Hope down on the bed, seeing that her eyes were unfocused as she mumbled half-words and that there was no feeling between them. Her tone of voice was completely different than I remembered from all the times I had spoken to her, maybe...

"It's the same tone she used before she was eight," I commented in a low voice. It made sense now, at the time I didn't think anything had changed about her, but now, listening to that timbre I knew that yes there had.

"We need to take blood samples and also analyze the darts that were thrown at her." I looked at the doctor in front of me.

"I have already asked Kaiden to bring the accessories, but as far as I know it is a very light mixture of wolfsbane, silver, mercury and some other ingredient to dilute the potency of those ingredients." I looked at Dylan who was on the other side of the bed, putting on a t-shirt and a pair of tennis shoes. His expression clearly showed his conflicting feelings.
