Chapter 54. A New Opportunity

Hope's POV

Thursday morning around 10 o'clock

I wake up feeling those sparks against my skin, the soft warmth, a gentle hug and the intoxicating smell of Dylan. I am in his arms, with my head resting on his shoulder and a strange feeling in my chest is present.

Well, strange? No, I knew exactly what this feeling was. I am falling in love with this man, and I don't know if it is just the Bond of Fate. I took a deep breath. I didn't want this. Or do I? I know I can't. That's what matters, I just can't.

I managed to get out of the arm that wrapped around me without waking him up and sat on the edge of the bed, or I thought he hadn't woken up.
