Chapter 24
Third Person’s POV
When Autumn opened her eyes, the beige-colored ceiling greeted her, and she immediately furrowed her brow because she knew that wasn’t the color of her condo unit’s ceiling.
She looked around and confirmed that she was right; she wasn’t in her condo unit. It seemed like she was in some kind of studio-type apartment because the room was spacious, and she could see the kitchen, a small dining table, and the bathroom from her bed.
She gazed at the ceiling again, pondering if she had done something foolish last night. No matter how hard she tried to remember, there was nothing. She only realized she had a headache due to that thinking.
“Good morning!” Jasmine cheerfully greeted when she noticed that Autumn was awake from her peaceful slumber. It seemed like Jasmine came from outside as she brought a plastic bag, presumably with porridge, from a nearby eatery.
