Harry’s POV
Because I was extremely worried about Selene… or Autumn, when she finally ended the call, I quickly got dressed to look for her.
I didn’t know where she was now, but I assumed she might be in a restaurant bar or a nearby bar close to her condo unit area, so I hopped on my motorbike and started visiting the restaurants and bars that I could find.
As I roamed around, I couldn’t help but think that, to some extent, what Gail said was true—Selene had indeed changed into Autumn. Because if she hadn’t changed, I know she wouldn’t have done this. Selene disliked noisy places… and she never used to drink back then.
When she had problems before, all she needed was a friend who would listen and comfort her and some free ice cream, and she would be okay. Now, she had learned to drink and get wasted. Well, I guess, in a way, alcohol does help a bit when you want to forget. I wasn’t into alcoholic drinks before, but when Selene disappeared… I
