“You don’t need to be at his grave to do that,” Kirstie said and squeezed Indianna’s hand comfortingly before leaving the room.
Indianna sighed and stood up. Her eyes landed on the calendar hanging above her desk. The months had gone so quickly; she couldn’t believe that it was nearing the end of the year. Next month, she’d have to spend Christmas alone. Indianna pulled Greyson’s jacket that she was wearing closer to her and made her way out of her room.
She found Ace in the medical room with Kal and Harry. They all had grave expressions.
“Hey,” she said quietly as she entered.
“Yo,” Kal smiled, his expression brightening. “Guess who wants to come back to school?”
