Chapter 17. A Supportive Bestie
Hatred was all she could set her mind to. Her body lost its strength long ago. Her mind shattered, and the rest of her followed suit. Without the hatred, she felt like she’d die. There wasn’t any part of her that felt anything when he was around. She despised him to the extent that his existence was making her heart ache.
Bushra could say she didn’t hate anyone; she never did. Until Sadiq came into her life and made her heart dark and cold whenever she saw him. Just looking at him breathe, living peacefully like he was innocent, made her heart throb with pain. It tortured her to look at him and do nothing about it. She hated him from the depth of her heart, and she’d rather live the rest of her life single than be with him.
