Bushra woke up the next morning with the events of the previous day still trapped in her head. It had been eating at her, almost making her cry out of anger and regret. She regretted knowing him. He came into her life when she didn’t need him, and just when she thought he came in for a positive reason, he destroyed everything. Shattered it and bleakly frolicked with her mental health.
She should’ve trusted her gut when it told her Mahir was bad news — but she chose to give him the benefit of the doubt, and he gave her what she deserved. A lesson.
