Chapter 119. Seems Distracted

Alana's POV

It was not every time Ricardo suggested going out. I sat comfortably in my seat and watched as he talked to the waiter. We went to a fancy restaurant. Not sure why he didn't let me change into something more fitting for the occasion. But the man said it didn't matter.

"Bring something more healthy…no alcohol and yes…dessert," Ricardo finished and slammed the menu on the table. The waiter nodded with a smile knowing she had been troubled.

"Right away sir," the lady said with a low bow and left right away.

"Whatever they prepared…why don't we get that," I said, recalling what he said on our way to the restaurant. Ricardo shrugged and picked up a glass of water.

"Not healthy, we need to follow a strict diet…" he said while taking a sip of water and I frowned even more.

"You look lovely," Ricardo said and poured me some water. I didn't know why his words made me blush. But he chuckled and leaned back in the chair
