Chapter 14. An Awkward Morning

Alana tossed and turned and finally, her alarm clock went off. As much as she wanted some peace. She couldn't sleep through the night. And when she sat upright. She pushed her hair off her face and tied it in a bun. Glancing around she realized where she was.

“Just great” she muttered and fixed her eyes on the man sleeping on the bed with sheets wrapped around his body. For a grown man, he didn't know how to sleep. To think he was by the edge of the bed if he moved even a little. He would fall right off the bed and land heavily on the floor.

“Ouch,” Alana muttered just thinking about the man falling made her want to laugh her lungs out.

She glanced down where she was and let out a helpless sigh. Having her mother-in-law was a bad idea. She came unexpectedly to her son's house, but everything was ruined when she came to know she was sleeping in the same room.
