Chapter 15. A Brilliant Wife

Alana sipped on her coffee while going through some files. She was surprised she had her own little office next to the boss's office. As his secretary, it was convenient for her to have her space, so she could carry out her work efficiently.

After a long conversation with Marcela. Alana wondered what her mom got her into. Marcela begged her to stay and be Santiago's mother. She asked about his biological mother, unfortunately, Marcela said it was something she wouldn't want to discuss.

“Hello Alana,” the door opened and Brigitte came in, Alana smiled, shoved her laptop away and pushed the chair backwards.

“So, how's your morning?” Alana asked, and Brigitte sat down and admired the office. Not pretty. She wondered how Alana managed to get the boss to give her an office. His former secretary never had one.
