After Alex got out of the pool, he came and sat next to Bella, drying off in the sun. She tried not to look at his body or think about how attractive he was, with the droplets of water rolling down his skin. It always seemed wrong to check him out, considering their situation.

Even more wrong when she sometimes thought he was looking at her and she'd feel a thread of pleasure at his attention.
