A sudden lull made him look up, directly into the Wolf's green eyes which were now focused on him. Beside him he felt Bella shiver; his own reaction was to tense, his muscles ready to go. Even though he'd pushed himself during this morning workout, and he was tired, adrenaline sent energy surging through him. Besides, he'd gotten to rest for a little bit while they were sitting on the dais.

"Ah, Pet and Toy... don't worry I didn't forget about you. In fact, I have plenty of time for you now." The anticipatory gleam in his eye made Alex clench his fists. Whatever the Wolf had planned, he already knew he wouldn't like it. The Wolf snapped his fingers and Alex turned his head around as he heard the whir of machinery.
