Chapter 34. The Nickname
"You didn't tell me you know Alora," I say once he cut the call.
"You didn't tell me you are such a fan of books. What is this? The key to business success?”, he asks, picking up a book from the pile, amusement twinkling in his eyes.
“Kian, this is not funny. Why didn’t you tell me that you and Alora are close?”
”Whatever made you think that we’re close?”
”You gave her a nickname Kian! A nickname! You’ve never given me one before!”
”You didn’t tell me that you needed one.”
”And Alora did? Excuse me Kian but do I need to ask you for a nickname before you give me one? I'm your wife you know!"
He walks towards me, grabbing my shoulders gently. "Farrah, I will give you a nickname preferably after you have completed your steps."
"Did Alora have to wait that long for a nickname?"
He releases me gently. "Farrah, stop being ridiculous. Jealousy doesn't suit you."
"I'm not jealous. I just want to know why my husband would be giving
