"Isn't that Matthew?" Billy asked, and I turned to see who he was looking at. It was Matthew, running in the distance, away from us. He had a look of worry on his face.

"It's him," I said, and we began to hurry towards Matthew. But then a lady appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Billy's hand, stopping us in our tracks. I looked at the woman, who was frowning as she looked at Billy.

Okay, it's his ex-girlfriend. I thought. "I will go first," I said to Billy while I didn't care about greeting his ex who was still on her frown while Billy breathing heavily.

I hurried away in search of Matthew.

And why was he running when he was sick? I asked myself as I climbed down the staircase of the hospital running out of the hospital to its compound.

I squinted against the sun, trying to catch a glimpse of where Matthew might have disappeared to and I saw him running as if running around the building.
