"What are you doing here?" My mum asked, wearing a surprised look including my father who had walked with my mum in my direction while standing in front.

I smiled silly as I gave them a response. "Nothing..."

"How do you know we are here? Leah told you?" My mum inquired again.

"Nah, I haven't seen them since they came to visit me," I answered.

"So, they didn't come to pick you up?" My dad asked, his voice tinged with concern. To any onlookers, it might have looked like I was being interviewed by the world's most famous interviewer. I could understand their worries, but at the same time, I wondered if I'd ever have to do chores around the house again.

"No Dad I... I left the hospital myself." I said in order not to put my sisters in trouble because I was sure my mum wouldn't take it easy with them if she found out they didn't come to pick me up early from the hospital not realizing that I was the one who had left the hospital earlier. I'm
