Chapter 25

Matthew

After feeling sick of being indoors, I decided to go for a walk. Since I had been indoors while in the hospital, I decided to take a stroll in the garden next to my house.

I was about to leave when I saw my cat's big, pleading eyes. She looked like she was begging me to take her along, and I hadn't resisted her adorable expression. With a smile, I scooped her up and took her with me as I headed to the nearby garden. As I strolled through the greenery, I hadn't dreamt of meeting Keith standing opposite me in front and staring at me as though he knew me before... He had abandoned me yesterday and had even had the guts to say I was not a friend... How dare he!

I stood with Jennabeth still in my hand while hesitating if I should ignore him or say hi, but what if I did and he snubbed me since he was good at it... Of course, I wouldn't want to add another worry to myself cause I'm sure I would think so much about this scene later tonight.
