“You’re early.”
“No. I’m here on time.”
“And that’s pretty early for you,” Miles said, watching as Erin walked into the meeting room and took a seat, opening the files in front of her.
Erin remained silent, focusing solely on reading the day’s reports, which continued to show that the company was in trouble.
Minutes passed by and Erin continued to read through the files, completely ignoring her brother. “You’ve been staring at those papers for about ten minutes now.” Miles leaned forward on his chair. “I’ve read what is in these files and I know they wouldn’t take this long to read. Is something wrong?”
