“This night was very special to me,” Miles said, holding a glass of champagne in his hand. “I never thought we would be here celebrating the opening of King-Tech and yet…”

“Woo!” Chris called out, clapping loudly as he slowly realized that he was the only one clapping. He slowly stopped, clearing his throat as he turned his attention elsewhere.

“Got a little excited there?” Erin said.

“I thought this is the part when we clap.”

“But…” Miles said, capturing everyone’s attention once more. “I know how to make this night even more special…”

Erin’s eyes widened as she watched her brother drop to one knee, facing Amy as he pulled a small black box out of his pocket. Amy glanced around nervously.

“Wait, how did you know?” Chris asked, leaning towards Erin.

“He told me before we went out.”

“How come he didn’t tell me?” Erin quickly shushed Chris, and he mumbled to himself. “No one tells me anything these days.”

“Amy…” Miles asked with a
