I noticed Katie standing a bit to the side, on an island of her own. So I walked up to her.
"It’s a little overwhelming, isn’t it?" I offered.
"Yeah," she said. "I need to be more fucked up to get past my natural shyness."
Jess walked over and joined us.
"This is something else," she said. "I didn’t imagine it would be quite so wild!"
"Are we still hitting the club?" Katie asked, a little anxiously.
"Hell yeah we are," Jess said. "Some of the more famous guys may stay here. I don’t want to be part of a tabloid event. But we’re going out tonight. We need to party."
