Chapter 355
She scrolled, then tapped, and suddenly the smooth stone surface of the coffee table in front of Kat made a sound. And a rectangular section of the top receded to the left. With the quiet whir of an electric motor, a mirror rose from underneath the table and clicked into place. On the mirror was a smaller but similar setup to the drug buffet from inside the main house on the bar. There was a bowl of cocaine and glass straws and carbon fiber cards in recessed portions at the perimeter of the mirror.
"Voila," Kat said, framing the coffee table for us like a game show presenter. "Party favors!"
"Holy shit," London said.
"That’s incredible," Victoria said.
"Fucking badass, dude," JT marveled.
"Right?" I said, a cocky grin on my face. "All the coke you want, at the touch of a button. Welcome to the twenty-first century, my friends."
The girls laughed.
