Chapter 23. Explaining the Prophecy
Estella’s POV
“A hundred years ago, a werewolf and a witch fell in love. A werewolf born of the pack of the Black Knights and a very powerful witch,” my father starts narrating.
“I thought witches and werewolves were in dispute then, like today,” I ask, and my father nods his head.
“They were, but these two were in love. They met each other secretly in the forests to spend time together. But a werewolf and a witch were not meant to be. When this werewolf found his mate, he abandoned his witch lover and decided to spend the rest of his life with his mate. But what he didn’t know was that he had already planted his seed in the witch. She was pregnant with his son,” my father says, and I listen to him attentively. “What happened to the witch? And her son?” I ask him.
“The witch brought forth a son,” my father answers.
