Chapter 42. Mated

Snow’s POV

Kol and I spent the entire day running in the field together, glowing both black and white, until we realized it was time to get back to the castle. We were both muddy and covered in grass. When we arrived at the castle, we cleaned ourselves and had dinner with Adeline and Reece, and they kept giving us weird looks. I wanted to stay and talk to Adeline, but Kol dragged me into his room as soon as we finished our meal.

We still haven’t had the chance to talk about why Kol was glowing today. He suggested we don’t tell Adeline and Reece yet until we understand why both of us have this power.

“Maybe you’re just a rare black wolf. You said white wolves were rare, and in ancient times, they came with powers, as in my case. Maybe it’s the same in your case,” I say, and Kol shakes his head as he paces back and forth in his room.
