Chapter 46. Confrontation

Snow’s POV

I pace hysterically outside of Stefan’s room, my heart beating frantically in my heart. I’m halfway about to change my mind and go the opposite way, back to Kol’s room, but my body stays in place. Pulling me forward and forward until I’m raising my hands and knocking on his door. Three knocks are all it takes, and the door immediately flies open.

Our eyes meet for a second before he averts his gaze away from mine. He stands in the way for a few seconds before pushing his body aside, gesturing for me to go inside.

I take a step, and in a second, I’m in his room, and he’s closing the door behind me. As I walk in, I notice Stefan is not alone in his room. There’s a girl with bronze skin and long brown curls sitting on his bed with her head in her palms. As soon as I walk in, she lifts her head up and looks me straight in the eyes.
