I left.

Thorne would never understand how important today was for Elsie and how it was essential for me to be by her side through these trying times. She would have been so depressed with her past trauma, coupled with the fact that she hadn’t even seen me and the quadruplets for months.

So, I needed to be by her side. She had always been my pillar of strength and I couldn’t let her down when she needed me the most.

Thorne was just scared for me and while his fears were valid, what he didn’t know was that no one would dare to attack me since they would all think that I would be in the castle for the moon festival. So, nothing wrong was going to happen, and I was sure of that.

Aside from that, I could protect myself and had gotten a Taser. When the quadruplets learned that I was going to visit Elsie, they cried and whined about how they wanted to visit her as well but today was a ‘me’ day with Elsie and I needed this moment with her alone
