Third-Person POV

“How are you feeling? Are you hurt anywhere?” he asked turning her to the side to see if she got any injuries.

“I am fine Lance. Nothing happened to me.” Alayana said and caught his hand to make him stop from worrying about her. She was worried Isaac would see from any corner and would misunderstand. So, she went to sit on the bed.

“Thank god nothing happened. I am sorry I couldn’t come immediately when Mandy called. I was away on business and it took me till now to come here.” he said, relaxing a bit.

“That’s ok. Luckily Mandy was there to help me. Otherwise.” She looked down at her stomach and couldn’t bear to think what would have happened if Isaac didn’t make a sound to get Mandy outside.
