Third-Person POV

“Did you find him?” Lance’s assistant asked the bodyguard who just returned after searching the tunnels.

“No. There is only blood. We can’t find him anywhere.” His words made Alayana’s heart beat fast. She can’t help but think it was Isaac whom they are searching for. It became hard for her to stop thinking about Isaac even though he betrayed her.

‘Is he ok?’ Alayana thought in her heart and tried to catch the heated vessel on the stove.
