Luna's POV

“What are you doing here?” When I was at the door, that was immediately what Cole asked me. Maybe he saw my crazy laugh. Maybe hundreds of questions were going through his brain as to why I was laughing alone in this cabin, even though there was no one here except for me.

“Why did you follow me?” I did not answer the question, but I answered with the question as well. I lost my enthusiasm for this plan. All the excitement I poured out vanished like a bubble. I didn’t look at him and still walked, even though he was blocking. As I approached the stairs to put on my slippers again, he grabbed my hand. No one answered our questions for each other.
