Chapter 74. Open Eyes
Wendy's POV
"Let go of me," I couldn't look at him and instead bowed my head. I took his hand off my chin and turned to go. I had no idea what we were going to talk about, so I'm not sure why he brought me here. It seemed as if my heart was in the air because there was a lot of wind flowing in and I didn't know where to get the air barrier that was coming in. He let go of my chin but held on to my hand.
"Can you tell me why you're making that face? Is this how you hate me? And seeing my face give you that kind of expression?" As a reaction to what he said, I glanced up at him and noticed his smile reaching the sky, but his eyes were watering. I immediately tried to avoid staring at him even more. If we stay together, we will just torture ourselves. I'd just let him go, and he looked to be making progress. Because of what I was thinking, my tongue felt bitter.
"Yeah..." No, that's not what I'm intending to answer. I'd like to tell him how much
