Chapter 232. Fading out the Darkness
Ethan could feel the cold lingering over his skin. His family already left a few minutes ago. The only person who would stay with him was his mother, who then went out to talk to his doctors regarding the surgery that would happen the next day.
He was damn nervous, extremely nervous to the extent that he felt as if his ribcage would explode as he could really feel the loud beating of his heart. He hadn’t felt such emotions before, even after going through a lot of things before he got to be with his real family.
Truth be told, he wanted to be okay. He wanted to be able to see, so much, that even though the idea of surgery scared him, he’d push it through any way.
Seeing the darkness was never cool. He just got used to it, but it did not mean that he liked it. There were no words that would be better to describe his situation other than the word: worse. He wanted to see his daughter, but he couldn’t. He wanted to see his wife and memorize every feature of her face,
