Layla’s POV

Heaven Outdoors was a fancy estate that only rich people lived at back in the days.

I remember one of the kids from my middle school lived here then. Thank God I don't even remember her name cause she was a walking nightmare then.

Kayla did all the horrible things to the less privileged girls like me then. Oh shit, I did remember her name.

As I walk away, I wonder if something happened. Like maybe perhaps the cost of living there dropped or my parents won a lottery and moved there?

By the time I entered a cab to be taken there, I had mixed feelings and emotions. I didn’t understand how they could move there and why they’d wait till I was out of their lives before they did that.
