I nodded and patted him on the shoulder. He was right. I couldn’t show up to Layla messed up like this. I needed to be able to realize what I want.

Walking to stand behind him and placing my hands on his wheel, I said “how about we go down there, get drunk and celebrate your return, brother?”

“I can hardly pass, brother.” He replied, causing a wife grin to cross my lips and I turned his wheel around and helped him through the doors and outside.

Graziella pulls me into a hug as soon as she sees me and offered me a glass of wine.

I could only think about how much I missed my Layla at times like this.
