Chapter 212
Logan’s POV
The man in the jaguar mask stood in the center of the room, a lit cigarette dangling lazily from his fingers.
“Wait a minute, why was he covering his face? Could it be that I know him already?” I just couldn’t stop asking myself questions upon questions on why the man in front of me was wearing a mask.
I had so much interest in this face that I’m about to see it.
The mask kept on shining under the faint overhead light, its feline design both regal and menacing. As soon as he saw me, he let out a low, mocking laugh.
“Well, well, well,” he drawled, exhaling a cloud of smoke. “The mighty Logan DeAngelo has finally fallen.”
His voice was dripping with sarcasm, hate, each word like a jab to my pride.
