Logan’s POV
I kept my breathing steady, my body still. They thought I was weak, helpless. Let them think that. It would make my eventual strike all the more satisfying.
The man in the jaguar mask leaned back, exhaling another puff of smoke. “Enjoy this moment, Logan,” he said, his tone mocking. “It’s the last bit of peace you’ll ever have.”
Inside, I seethed. This man and his lackeys looked so weak, so fragile. I couldn’t wait to unleash hell on them.
Soon, I thought. Very soon.
The tension in the air was suffocating, and despite the chaos inside the room, my focus was razor-sharp.
