Chapter 332
Isabella’s POV
After ending the call with Jaden, I sat on the edge of the bed, my heart still racing. I had no idea what he was planning, but I knew that I shouldn’t trust him too much. He was my only hope.
Reaching for my phone again, I opened the gallery and scrolled through the pictures I had of Logan. There, near the bottom, was an old photo I had saved from a scrapbook he once showed me.
The image was of a young Logan, perhaps eight or nine years old, standing beside a massive tree with a scowl on his face. His curly hair was tousled, and his piercing eyes were unmistakable, even at that age.
I hesitated for a moment before sending the photo to Jaden.
“Done,” I texted, my fingers trembling.
