Isabella’s POV

As I left the study, I let out a shaky breath. Logan’s determination to meet the child was growing stronger by the minute, and I was running out of excuses.

I grabbed my phone, dialing Jaden’s number.

“What now?” he answered, his tone impatient.

“He wants to meet the boy,” I said, my voice trembling. “I don’t know how much longer I can stall him.”

Jaden sighed. “Relax, Isabella. I’m handling it. I’ll have a boy ready for you in a few days.”

“But what if he doesn’t believe it?” I asked, panic creeping into my voice. “What if Logan realizes it’s all a lie?”

“He won’t,” Jaden said confidently. “Not if we do this right. Just make sure you keep him distracted until I give you the green light.”
