Logan’s POV

I couldn’t stand Jaden. I hated the thought of him being around Isabella, of him being a part of her life in any way. The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. I needed to confront her. I needed answers.

I turned to Isabella, who was still standing there, looking at me with those big, innocent eyes, like she had no idea what was going through my mind. But I wasn’t going to let it slide anymore. No more pretending.

“If there’s something you’re hiding from me, Isabella, now is the time to tell me,” I said, my voice low and controlled, though inside, I could feel the fury bubbling up.

“I’m not going to keep playing this game. If there’s something between you and him”...I motioned toward the door where Jaden had left…“you need to tell me now, before it’s too late.”

I could see her stiffen at my words, and for a moment, she didn’t say anything. I wait
