Jason’s POV

“Whatever you think you know, Isabella, it doesn’t change the fact that this is your problem. You’re the one who dragged that boy into your life, and now you’re paying the price. Deal with it.”

“You’re a coward,” she said, her voice trembling with anger. “You’re running away from your responsibilities because it’s convenient for you. But don’t forget, Jason…we’re in this together. Whether you like it or not.”

Her words stung, but I refused to let her see that. “I’m not in anything with you,” I said coldly. “Fix your mess, Isabella. And stop dragging me into it.”

Before she could respond, I ended the call, tossing my phone onto the nightstand. My chest heaved with frustration as I leaned back against the pillows, staring at the ceiling.
