Layla's POV
I took a deep breath, wiping away the tear that threatened to fall.
You have to trust him, Layla. If you don’t trust him, this relationship is doomed. I reminded myself of this truth. Logan deserved my trust.
He hadn’t done anything to make me doubt him. Maddie was just being... Maddie. She was cynical about love, always expecting the worst because of her past experiences.
