Isabella's POV
How I had clung to him, thrown myself at him like some pathetic fool, and how he’d pushed me away. He looked at me like I was nothing. Like I was invisible.
But it wasn’t my fault. It was hers. Layla. That witch had somehow bewitched him, stolen his affection. And I was going to make her pay for it.
I turned off the water, stepping out and wrapping myself in a towel. I moved swiftly, my determination fueling me as I dried off and dressed.
