Isabella's POV

I could barely contain my excitement. It was actually working. Maddie’s plan was falling into place perfectly. 

“How about tomorrow night? I’ll make the reservations. You don’t have to worry about anything.”

He hesitated, his eyes showing with doubt, but he finally nodded. “Alright. Tomorrow night.”

I smiled, my heart racing as I held back the urge to laugh. 

“I’m really happy, Logan. I’ve missed spending time with you.”

He didn’t respond, his eyes distant again as he looked away. “I... have to get back to work.”

I nodded quickly, backing away as I wiped my eyes one last time. “Of course. I’ll... I’ll leave you to it, then.”

I turned and walked out of the study, closing the door behind me as a victorious grin spread across my face. I had done it. He agreed.

Now all I had to do was tell Maddie, and the rest of the plan would fall into place.
