Chapter 31. Taking a Trip

Leiya POV
I tried to stay up until sunrise, but I was unsuccessful. Helion convinced me to go to bed when he noticed I was dozing off in his arms. When my eyes opened, the sun was on its way to the center of the sky. I sat up, stretching my arms and legs.
“Good morning sunshine.”
I looked up to see him sitting on the chair beside my window. My hands dropped to the bed and I stared at him with a wide smile. I couldn't explain why I was so happy to see him.
“Good morning.”
I mumbled. His lips formed into a smile as he continued to glance at me. Since I met him, I had seen him smile only a few times, but to see him smile at me, it just felt so good. While we were still staring at each other, my stomach rumbled loud enough for him
