After everything had calmed down, Killian took his leave. Jormun and I tended to Sarah as Jett went to make sure Ella was also okay. In the end, the only side that faced any real damage was that of the wolves.

“Goodness.” I complained as I sat in the limousine. “What a day.” Jormun sat next to me in the limousine. He had sent Killian and Jett on their way before telling them he was taking me back home. He invited Jett to stay with us, but the panther declined for the time being, saying he needed to take care of some things before he could leave the Skoll wolf pack on its own.

“At least you get a break from those two idiots.” Jormun sighed as he whipped out his cellphone. I watched as he began sending text message after text message on his phone.

“What are you doing now?” I asked.

“Looking for the best place to house you for the time being.” He answered me without looking up from his cellphone.

“I thought we were going to stay in the city?” I asked.
