Chapter 3. Lucky to Eat Jordan's Cooking

When Nicole heard what Ivelle said, she was stupefied and her eyes darkened. She looked back and whispered to Jordan, she was pulling at the corners of his clothes. "Brother, I was too wayward last night. I disturbed you and Sister Ivelle. Can you let her stay and have breakfast with us? Consider it my apology, okay? "

Sure enough, some people really did not need to work very hard, as long as they would act coquettish and showed weakness, they could get what others couldn't.

Jordan was originally indifferent to her appearance but when he heard Nicole's request, he looked back at Ivelle and said, "Let's eat together!"

In a cold, commanding tone.

Did it hurt? She's used to it.

Smiling, Ivelle nodded, "Thank you!"

Ivelle would never be able to completely refuse Jordan's words. It would be difficult for her.

She was lucky to eat Jordan's breakfast for the first time, fried eggs with congee. It was ordinary yet extraordinary, Ivelle always knew that Jordan was very talented.

"Sister Ivelle, try the eggs that were fried by Jordan. They are very fragrant. When we were together, he would often fry them for me." Nicole said as she put an egg into her bowl.

Then he gave Jordan a clip and said with a smile, "Brother Jordan, you promised to accompany me to see flowers today. You can't break your promise."

"Hmm!" Jordan opened his mouth and ate his breakfast elegantly and reservedly. He always had few words but to Nicole, he seemed to answer everything she asked.

Brad seemed to be used to everything. He was eating breakfast gracefully and he was looking at them as an outsider.

Ivelle lowered her eyes and frowned. That day was Grandpa's funeral. If Jordan would accompany Nicole she would have to go alone to the Astley family's old house.

No one would have a good breakfast. After a few simple bites, she saw Jordan went upstairs and changed his clothes. Ivelle put down the bowls and chopsticks and followed.

Bedroom.

Jordan knew that she was behind. His voice said indifferently, "What's the matter?"

As he said, he took off his clothes as if nothing has happened, his sturdy figure was exposed. Instinctively, Ivelle turned her back to him and said, "Today is Grandpa's funeral!"

Behind her she heard the sound of a belt zipper, followed by an unwarm reply, "You can go over there alone."

Ivelle frowned. "He was your grandfather." Jordan was the eldest son of the Astley family. If he would not be there, what would the rest of the Fu family think?

"I have already told Brad to take care of the burial. If there are any other details, you can communicate with Brad." He spoke with no emotion as if he was saying an unimportant matter.

Ivelle saw him walking towards the study, she raised her voice and said, "Jordan, is it true that for you, except Nicole, everyone else is dispensable? What is kinship for you?"

He paused and looked back at her. His black eyes narrowed slightly and were very cold. "It's not your call to say this to me," he said.

After a pause, he raised his thin lips and uttered a few words ironically, "You don't deserve it!"

It was just a few words but it was like a basin of cold water and it was chilling.

As she listened to the sound of his steps as he moved away, she laughed.

She didn't deserve it!

After two years, she still wasn't able to heat a cold stone.

"I thought you were just thick-skinned, but I didn't think you liked to mind other's business." She heard a sound of ridicule.

When Ivelle looked back, she saw Nicole leaning on the door frame. The simple loveliness on her face has long since disappeared. It left only gloom and coldness.

"The speed at which Miss Blakeley changed her face is quite unexpected." Ivelle glanced at her faintly, she picked up her bag and prepared to go directly to Astley's house.

If Jordan didn't go, she possibly goes.

As soon as she arrived at the door, she was blocked by Nicole. Jordan was not there and she was no longer pretending to be a good person. She looked at me coldly and said, "When will you sign the divorce agreement?"

Ivelle was stupefied but she smiled. She looked at Nicole and said, "Is Miss Blakeley now forcing me to divorce as a third party?"

"You are a third party!" She didn't seem to like being called a third party. Her face darkened and said, "Ivelle, if it wasn't for you, the hostess of this villa would be me, not you. The old man is dead and no one can protect you to stay here. If I were you, I would sign obediently and go away with the money given by Jordan."

"Miss Blakeley, it's a pity you're not me!" Ivelle coldly told her. She ignored Nicole and walked past her. She went downstairs to leave. Except for Jordan, no one in the world's words would be able to hurt her.

Miss Nicole, who was used to be treated as someone special, was ignored by Ivelle. Nicole was unwilling to let her go, she tugged hard and said, "Ivelle, do you still want to stay shameless? Jordan doesn't like you. What's the use of staying with him?"

As she looked back at Nicole, she felt a little funny, she calmed herself down, "Why are you being like that when you know he doesn't take me to heart?"

"You." Nicole blushed anxiously and was speechless for a moment.

Ivelle approached her, sneered a little, and said in a lowered voice. "What's the use of staying with him?" At this point, she calmed down her tone and whispered in a leisurely voice, "What do you think is the use of his skill?"

"Ivelle, you are shameless!" Nicole with fierce red eyes raised her hand and pushed towards me. Behind Ivelle was the staircase, out of instinct, Ivelle subconsciously moved away.

To her surprise, Nicole did not stand firm and fell directly towards the stairs.

"Ah." Her heart-wrenching voice was heard in the hall. Ivelle froze for a moment before she realized what happened.

Her body was pushed away by Jordan and at an incomparable speed, she saw Jordan went down the stairs to see Nicole, who was already lying downstairs.

Nicole curled up downstairs. She was pale and she was painfully hugging her belly. Her voice was weak when she said, "My child, my child, no, no, no."

There was blood under her, which spread and stained the large carpet red. Ivelle froze. She? Pregnant?

Jordan?

"Jordan, my child, child." Nicole grabbed Jordan's sleeve and repeated the words over and over again.

A thin sweat stain appeared on Jordan's forehead.

"Don't be afraid, the baby will be all right." He soothed Nicole, picked her up, and strode towards the door.

Jordan took a few steps and then suddenly stopped. The man's face was straight, his eyes were black and bright and the anger in his voice was obvious, "Good for you, Ivelle."

Light words, indifference, hatred, and anger were all included.

She stood still and didn't know what to do for a moment!

"Aren't you going to go up and explain?" There was a low voice behind her. Ivelle was stupefied. She looked up and saw that it was Brad. She didn't know when he followed her.

She tried to suppress the panic in her heart, she calmly said, "Explain what?"

He raised his eyebrow. "Aren't you afraid he got the wrong idea?"

Ivelle lowered her eyes, she bitterly said, "It doesn't matter whether I pushed her or not. The important thing is that Nicole was hurt and someone has to bear this responsibility."

"You can figure it out!" Brad went downstairs and left the villa with a medical box.

Brad followed to the hospital to see Nicole.
