Chapter 60. Unlocking Powers

Germaine's brows pinched together as she peered at the tome. The wordings were illegible and in a language she could not understand. She had a hard time trying to decode what they meant. As a matter of fact, she had a hard time trying to understand what everything she had read and seen, meant.

The savior, which was supposed to be her, according to the book, had immense powers that could singlehandedly finish off Rage and all his vampires, and even the evil Mages that would eventually side with him as well. She was so powerful that she was a store house of power. She was also a visionary, which meant she could see into the future.

She looked up from the tome and realized she had been reading the same sentence for awhile now and was not getting anywhere. It was time to call it a night. She rubbed her eyes, wincing because it felt like sand was trapped inside them. She cranked her neck left and right, trying to ease the creak in her neck from bending over for a long time.
