Chapter 31
[Some months later]
Erin straightened her floor-length dress and admired her reflection in the mirror for a while before pouting her small lips. She wasn’t pleased with the way she looked now. She had too much flesh in plenty of places, but Uriah insisted that she was pretty regardless.
She believed him. Of course, she did, but she could not help but berate herself each time she looked in the mirror. Perhaps, she was overthinking. Her hand found its way to her protruded belly, and she rubbed it gently. Her due date was getting terribly close, and with each passing day, her fear increased.
She spent her time watching home birth videos because she was still uncertain about if she wanted to have her daughter at home or have her in a hospital. Yes, she was having a daughter, and it made her really elated. She could not wait to hold her child in her arms.
